US Undergrad Student, Internationally Fully Enrolled IEFC offers the Federal Stafford loan program, the Federal PLUS loan program and the private International Student Loan Program for US citizens fully enrolled at eligible institutions outside of the US.
Federal Stafford/PLUS
Over 400 institutions around the world are eligible for the Federal Stafford and PLUS loan programs. Combining no-interest loan subsidies for qualified students with attractive loan caps, these loan programs should be the first consideration for US students enrolled at eligible institutions. International Student Loan Program
As of April 18th, 2008 our private loan lenders stopped accepting new applications for the private International Student Loan Program (ISLP) and CanHELP loan programs. We are actively working to develop alternative programs to support the borrowing needs of international students, and will post new information as it becomes available.
